Since 2015, our work has contributed to more than 245 policy wins in 24 states, along with six major policy victories in Congress.  

From reducing barriers to meaningful workforce participation, eliminating burdensome fees that trap individuals in cycles of debt and incarceration, bringing robust automatic criminal record expungement, ending debt-based driver’s license suspension reform, modernizing sentencing laws, reigning in abuses involved with civil asset forfeiture, and more, we actively facilitate policy change that turns our vision for a smarter and more effective justice system into reality.
